Driver updating video

If you've already upgraded to Windows 10 you may find some of your drivers aren't working properly. (For more on Windows 10, also see: Windows 10 screenshots, Windows 10 review, and 6 things we hate about Windows 10.) A reader wrote in to Helproom to ask: "I have a Dell Inspiron 9400 laptop that runs Windows 8.1.Unfortunately, I can’t get any updated video drivers for the 256MB Nvidia Ge Force Go 7800 it came with, which means the 17in screen shows an awful, sickness-inducing blurred screen.

Regardless of which camp you're in the fact is this is what Microsoft has decided is how it's going to be and we have to learn how to live with it, or get around it.The transition to Windows 10 has been in some cases a breath of fresh air, and in others, more like a whiff of landfill. One of the areas that has NOT been well accepted is the decision to enforce updates whether you want them or not.The update to Windows meant it downgraded to the Microsoft Basic Display Adaptor, which ruined the previously clear picture. It doesn’t even seem to see the Nvidia processor any more.
